My Story With Tattoo Removal Creams

June 18, 2009

Part I

So I actually ended up starting this blog after I realized I had a stupid tattoo I wanted to get rid of. The truth is, I still have it, and I haven’t even started using the lotions. Why? Well, I’m still trying to figure out which one is the best one for me to buy. That’s one reason I started this blog: to publicly sort out the info and resources I find, and hopefully, to learn from others who have already done it. Which is why I’m asking people to share their story here.

I, like many of you probably, got a tattoo many years back that at the time seemed…well – awesome, I guess you could say (why else would I get it , eh?!), but now, looking back after all these years, it’s just a pain in my side, it’s presence annoys me, and I’d rather not ever see it again.

So I’m looking into using a removal cream to get rid of it. So far I am leaning towards Wrecking Balm but we shall see…

Why use a tattoo removal cream?

June 12, 2009

Why would someone use a tattoo removal cream?

Obviously, duh, to remove a tattoo right! :)

Well yes, but what I meant was, why would you use a removal cream instead of using another technique – such as rejuvi, or going in for laser removal treatments.

Good question.

The biggest and best reason around is that tattoo removal creams are something you can just buy yourself, over the internet or at a local shop, and do yourself at home. No doctors. No prescriptions. No going in for treatments. No paperwork.

There’s also another biggie here: no pain. Compared to something like rejuvi or laser removal, this is a lot easier to go through. There’s no pain,  you simply apply a lotion to your skin. That’s it. Nice, quick, and easy.

Introduction to Wrecking Balm Tattoo Removal Cream

June 5, 2009

If you’ve searched the web for tattoo removal creams, then you’ve surely come across the biggest and most widely used removal cream of them all:

Wrecking Balm.

Wrecking Balm is the Coke of tattoo removal creams. They are so much bigger and well funded than the other companies, I’m not even sure who Pepsi would be in the metaphor.

Anywho, Wrecking Balm is the most popular cream on the market. Why? Probably because of their budget! Take a look at their webpage and you’ll see what I mean.

As far as I can tell though, they are basically the same as the other lotions and creams on the market. Another Tattoo Removal Creams Guide says the same thing too, about it basically being the same as the others. They sell a kit which you apply topically to the skin (it actually comes with a few different lotions) and with repeated applications, the tattoo ink will fade and then disappear altogether.

At least that’s how it’s supposed to work. Have you used Wrecking Balm? What was your experience with it? Do you still have your tattoo or is it long gone like the dinosaurs?

A Place to Share Your Story Too

I also wanted to mention in the intoduction that while this site exists to serve you, dear reader, with information on tattoo removal creams, I’m sure that eventually some people out there will get onto this site who have had experience with Wrecking Balm or Tat B Gone, Tattoo Off, etc. I’d REALLY like to hear your story if that’s the case. What was it like using the lotion? Did it hurt? Did it start working fast? Did it fade your tattoo or remove it entirely? Or, god forbid, did you get scammed and it did nothing at all?

The point is, this can be a two way forum if you feel so inclined – just jump in anytime when you have something to say by using the “comments” feature.  Thanks and I hope your story is a successful one!

Welcome to Tattoo Removal Creams info!

June 1, 2009

Hey guys and gals! Welcome to my site!

This is a simple blog about tattoo removal creams. We won’t really get into other methods of tattoo removal here (although I might start another blog on that and when I do, I’ll be sure to give you the link :) – — instead, we’ll just look at one of the more popular methods, the use of creams and lotions to fade or (hopefully) remove a tattoo entirely.

There are a lot of different companies out there now making tattoo removal creams, and I wanted to write about the different products out there, and how they differ, or where they are the same and so on. We’ll also get into costs and fees and all that fun stuff.

See you soon!
